DNV GL’s maiden collaboration with a Singapore startup- SwarmX

On 13th April, DNV GL, hosted Norway Prime Minister Erna Solberg to unveil its latest products in smart wind and solar farms and its first collaboration with a Singapore UAV start up, SwarmX to produce greener energy (Source: DNV GL official announcement).

With the combination of efficient data management system and smart docking system, drones can now take shifts to allow companies to closely monitor production and performance of a wind or solar asset, prevent problems form occurring, and acting in the case a problem does arise. This partnership is a significant indication of ongoing collaboration between Norway and Singapore where both country shares similar visions in producing clean energy.

Matthias Steck, Executive Vice President of Energy and Renewable Advisory from DNV GL and CEO of  SwarmXPulkit Jaiswal, will co-present their insights on how UAVs play a part in creating a fully customer centric, efficient and data smart platforms at  The Commercial UAV Show Asia 2016  in Singapore this 1-2 September. Alongside Matthias and Pulkit will be more than 40 speakers exploring the latest case studies impacting the APAC UAV industry.
